PAVED Arts is excited to celebrate worldwide Pinhole Photography Day with local artists Carey Shaw & Gordon Holtslander as they offering this hands-on workshop opportunity for our producing membership. Carey has been an artist-in-residence with the Saskatchewan Arts Board, community educator and coordinator with the Mackenzie Art Gallery and Common Weal Community Arts. Gordon’s practice focuses on creating very large format negatives using industrial film and handmade pinhole cameras to create large alternative process contact prints
This one day workshop will have participants use pinhole cameras to create 8×10 negatives, cyanotype and Van Dyck brown prints.
Big beautiful prints with easy traditional techniques.
