EX-1 Camcorder Workshop - Sat, September 18, 1pm-4pm

In depth practical instruction on the SONY PWM-EX1 High Definition camcorder. This camera uses the XDCAM HD format, records onto SxS memory cards (not tape) and is used in television production. This one of PAVED Arts highest quality camera and ideal for short films and documentary style digital films. You *MUST* take this workshop before you may rent this camera.

Dorkbot: Datamoshing Sat, September 25, 1pm-3pm
Come learn about new techniques in digital art at the latest Dorkbot Saskatoon meeting this September. Datamoshing is an experimental video technique that uses the intricacies of digital video encoding to create unique abstract imagery from ordinary video files. For this session of dorkbot, we'll get together, watch this tutorial video on the process and see if we can experiment with the datamoshing concept. If you have a mac laptop, bring it along!
