Volunteering

Different ways to participate at PAVED Arts:

1. Volunteering

Volunteers want to help PAVED Arts in order to give to the community.
This includes; tending bar and ticket booths at fundraising events, helping us to improve our facilities and serving on the Board of PAVED Arts.
Volunteers do not necessarily have to be Members (except in the case of serving on the board).

2. Working in kind

Members Working in Kind want to help PAVED Arts while simultaneously earning credit for funding their own projects. PAVED Arts credits are good towards rental of equipment and facilities.

Opportunities that members can help us with

Promotional Activities

• Postering
• Dropping off flyers
• Contacting media organizations

• Still photography
• Videography
• Audio recording

• Burn CDs and DVD's for PAVED archives
• Photocopy liner notes, cut out and package CDs for PAVED archives
• Label DVDs

• Dubbing of videotapes

• Vacuum and mop floors, dust kitchen, bathrooms (both floors!)
• Take out trash (both floors!)
• Dispose of unneeded furniture/items
• Take disposed items to Habitat For Humanity Restore and/or Village Green
• paint shelving unit in lounge

• Recycle office paper
• Recycle corrugated cardboard
• Return redeemable bottles/cans for deposit
• Research where to recycle dead batteries and return

• Sort/pack VV paper archives
• Make current/former Board members w/Staff list
• Video Verite paper archives: Re-check packed archival boxes, list of contents/restricted use

• Track lighting fixture maintenance
• Restore Gallery Chairs
