Exclusive to Saskatchewan to celebrate The 2012 provincial Year of the Fransaskois, visual artist, Zoé Fortier, and singer-songwriter, Alexis Normand, present MIRADOR: a study of their relationship with spaces they visited and those that live within them. The project has three components: Normand’s debut full-length album, Fortier’s collection of paintings and a multi-disciplinary concert during which Fortier manipulates stencils and illustrations in real time to accompany Normand’s playful yet moving jazz-folk compositions.
