PAVED Arts is excited to announce a brand new partnership with Adobe Youth Voices and the Community Initiatives Fund called “Neighbourhood Reflections”. This July we are presenting a unique workshop opportunity for youth aged 13-19 from Saskatoon and we are looking for community support to make sure this program has the most impact possible.
What: “Neighbourhood Reflections” features 5 days of hands on photography workshops, as well as an opportunity for the attendees to meet with some of the most dynamic artists and community builders in Saskatoon. This program also features an opportunity for the participants to showcase the art they produce in both gallery and public settings as well as compete for scholarships prizes through the Adobe Youth Voices program.
When: This program runs from 11 am until 2 pm on July 2nd, July 3rd, July 7th, July 8th, July 9th. With a celebratory reception on Friday July 11th at PAVED Arts.
Where: Each day the group will gather at PAVED Arts, and most of the workshops and talks will be here. We are also trying to activate other spaces in the Riversdale community for workshop use.
Who: We are looking for 10-15 youth aged 13-19. No prior experience or knowledge with photography is necessary. But an interest in community involvement and the arts is a must!!
