Arduino is an easy to use open source microcontroller platform. With an almost unlimited range of input and output add-ons, sensors, indicators, displays, motors, Arduino offers countless ways to create devices that interact with the world around you.

The Introduction to Ardunio workshop introduces the microcontroller platform, basic coding, and external resources. Through hands-on activity, workshop participants will learn to control LED lights, electric motors, and sensors.

A laptop PC or Mac is required. It is preferable that participants download and install the free Arduino software in advance. https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Software.

Class size limited to 6 participants

If you have questions or would like to sign up please email technical@pavedarts.ca

To help pay for the Arduino micro-controllers and accessories, this workshop is $20 for producing members in good standing or $40 for non-members.  Participants will be able to take home their Arduino projects at the conclusion of the workshop
