Introduction to Photoshop (for Beginners)

This Introduction to Photoshop workshop will focus on aspects of the software that Stephanie finds useful in her daily design work, as well as things she wished she would have learned earlier in her Photoshop explorations. Topics will include basics such as; using proper file types for specific print and web applications, preparing files for print, using the text tool, photo retouching, colour correction, utilization of layers and layer modes, layer masks, and how to make simple GIFS using the timeline feature.
About the artist:
Stephanie Kuse is a freelance graphic designer and multi-media visual artist. She is self-taught in Adobe Photoshop, and having used the program for approximately three-fifths of her life, holds it close to her heart as her favourite software.
