Workshop w/ Jennifer Smith
Event Space, upstairs at PAVED Arts/AKA Artist-Run Centre
Join us for an afternoon workshop to learn about the video distribution services at Video Pool Media Arts Centre. VP’s Distribution Manager Jen Smith will come to PAVED Arts, to discuss the details of what it means to distribute your work, what VP offers including having your work on VUCAVU.com, and answer all of your burning questions about video art distribution. If you are interested in distribution come with your videos on a thumb drive, the thumb drive will be taken back to Winnipeg with Jen, and returned to you by mail (remember to label your thumb drive if you want it back).
Jennifer Smith is a Métis curator, writer and arts administrator in Winnipeg, Canada. Jennifer is the Distribution Manager at Video Pool Media Arts Centre, is working as the Indigenous Curator in Residence at aceartinc, from March to September 2018, and is the President of the Board of the Coalition of Canadian Independent Media Arts Distributors / VUCAVU.com.
