Bubblemaking: Thinking and Building Inflatable Structures

In this workshop, participants will learn the basic history of inflatable art, architecture, and installation; and will design and build an inflatable space!
Ricardo Bizafra is a Brazilian set designer based in São Paulo. He makes sets for movies, tv shows, photoshoots, events and other kinds of temporary builds. In the meantime, he likes to research different and non-conventional types of construction, especially inflatable ones. He has exposed inflatables in different shapes and sizes in Brazil, Italy, and the USA – and loves teaching how to build them.

Non-members: $50 (Price of membership at time of registration or $25 for students/underemployed)
