Setting up your own guitar can seem daunting at first, but this hands-on workshop will go through everything you need to know to start doing your own electric guitar setups at home and will give you the know-how to make adjustments to your instrument. Topics will include neck relief, action, intonation, and more. The workshop is designed for absolute beginners and no prior skills with tools is necessary.

Luthier Leila Sidi of TunaTone Instruments (Edmonton, AB) will demonstrate everything you’ll need to know to start doing your own electric guitar setups at home. For the past 8 years, Leila Sidi has been studying woodworking and luthiery. Building mid-century inspired, high fidelity electric guitars under the name TunaTone Instruments, she focusses on environmental and design justice as it applies to her work.”
