Expressions of Interest are accepted year-round on an ongoing basis
Every year PAVED Arts stages what we term a “senior production residency.” This opportunity provides for a longer term of engagement with the centre, usually lasting a month to six weeks in duration. The senior production residency is often organized around a workshop or series of workshops staged by the artist in residence, as an interactive means to develop contacts and foster relationships in the direct community. Further to such activities, every senior production artist-in-residence is encouraged to develop a public-facing outcome that may take the form of a presentation, performance and/or exhibition.
Resources provided for the Senior Production Residency
PAVED Arts supports one senior production residency every calendar year. The artist invited to undertake this residency will be supported by the following fees and provisions:
- An artist fee of $2300.00
- Workshop fees of $400.00 per workshop
- A public presentation fee of $340.00
- All travel and accommodation costs are covered by the gallery
- A per diem allotment of $40.00 per day
In addition to this support, PAVED Arts will grant the Senior Production Artist in Residence general access to its facilities and mobile equipment, following the orientation and protocols of the production centre.
