Audio Suite 101: Intro to recording w/ Ghost Hynes

Saturday, January 20, 2024, 12–3 pm
PAVED Arts Production Centre, 424 20th St. W. Saskatoon

Are you interested in the PAVED Audio Suite, but aren’t quite sure how it works? Maybe, you’ve got a song, and you are ready to record?!

In this workshop, Ghost will show how the PAVED Audio Suite is structured, give tips and tricks on how to use the software Pro Tools, and show how to go from words on a page to a recorded song. Participants will work collaboratively to record a song as part of the workshop, and we’ll end the workshop by fully mixing our track. You will learn how to use the variety of mics in the audio suite, set proper levels, and utilize our wide array of recording equipment (including pre-amps). Don’t miss this in-depth and interactive session in the PAVED Arts Audio Suite!
