Lighting for Film: Workshop with Ania Ślusarczyk and Raj Padmanabh
November 9, 3–6 pm
PAVED Arts Production Centre, 424 20th St. W. Saskatoon

Lighting is as crucial to cinematic storytelling as a script and a subject, though it often goes unappreciated. In addition to being a practical necessity in creating a film image, lighting visually sets the mood and atmosphere of a film.

Film lighting doesn’t need to be intimidating!

In this workshop we’ll teach you the principles of lighting for film, show you basic lighting set-ups using the light kits available for rent at PAVED Arts and look at some creative lighting solutions. This workshop is beginner-friendly.

This workshop is free for PAVED Arts members, $20 for non-members.

This workshop is now full. Keep an eye on our website and social media for upcoming workshops.
