P.A.V.E.D.

P.A.V.E.D. is a community-centred group exhibition that carries particular organizational significance. Bringing together active members of PAVED Arts, the exhibition invites artists to respond to each letter of the organization’s acronym: Photographic, Audio, Video, Electronic, and Digital. As the first exhibition presented in the reaffirmed PAVED Arts Main Gallery, it serves both as a celebration of our community and a reflection on the diverse media practices that define the organization.

The exhibition features photography by Kinzie Murray, an interactive audio work by Constantine Katsiris, a video installation by Respectfulchild, an electronic media installation by Jean-Sébastien Gauthier and Michel Gignac, and a digital augmented reality work by Brianna Fiddler. Together, these projects demonstrate the breadth of contemporary media art being produced within our community and embody the mandate of PAVED Arts not as policy, but as a living field of practice.
