Bring your home movie reels for a free inspection and evaluation in celebration of
Home Movie Day. Learn how to properly transfer and store your 8mm, Super 8 and
16mm films. Archivists from the University of Saskatchewan will share home movies in
their collection. Films brought to these events will also be considered for the curated
Home Movie Day programme screening on Saturday, October 18, at PAVED Arts,
424-20th St W.
Film Rescue International as a sponsor of the event is contributing a prize of a free film transfer to a lucky participant in Home Movie Day (prize winner must be in attendance at the event on the 18th).

intriguing selection of local home movies and the opportunity to meet with archivists
and learn about film preservation.
