If you like photography (as an amateur or professional) and want your work to run across the city, send your photographs to PAVED Arts!

This call for submissions is open to all Saskatoon residents keen on photography, regardless of their level of experience. All are welcome to submit a photo (or multiple photos) to PAVED Arts. Images will be considered for presentation on city buses over the course of September and October 2015.

A community jury will select photos that reflect our city “through the eyes of its people.” Partnering with Rawlco Transit these photographs will be printed and exhibited in Saskatoon buses, transforming the morning commute into moving a public gallery, and bringing new photographic artwork to all transit riders in all corners of the city.

All submitted works will be available for viewing in our Toon’s Kitchen media gallery for the duration of the public show on transit.

To submit, you have a few options:

1. Send us your horizontal orientation photo, as is.

2. Size the photo yourself to be 26 x 11″ (or 7807 x 3300 px) to fit the ‘panoramic’ shape of the space, keeping in mind the 3/4″ bleed area on the top, bottom, and right side.

3. Use the template below to size your photo accordingly. Even if you send back a .JPEG, we can change the information part later.

Find the template here

Photographs should have a horizontal orientation so that they may be displayed on “interior cards” such as the one illustrated below (“Your Photo Here”, or see template) . If your photograph is selected PAVED Arts may request a print resolution version or further discuss specifications at such a time.

Email your pictures to: artistic@pavedarts.ca
