PAVED Arts wants to feature your photograph aboard Saskatoon buses in the 2nd annual “Toon’s On Transit!”
This call for submissions is open to all Saskatoon area residents keen on photography, regardless of their level of experience. All are welcome to submit a photo (or up to 3 photos) to PAVED Arts. Images will be considered for presentation on city buses over the course of September and October 2016.
A community jury will select photos
that reflect our city “through the eyes of its people.” Partnering with Rawlco Transit these photographs will be printed and exhibited in Saskatoon buses, transforming the morning commute into moving a public gallery, and bringing new photographic artwork to all transit riders. All submitted works will also be on view in the PAVED Arts “Toon’s Kitchen” media gallery for the duration of the public show on transit.
Selected Photographs will be be displayed on “interior cards.” The photographic image resolution should be 300 pixels per inch and the image size should be 26 inches wide by 11 inches high. Images that do not conform to this scale will be subject to cropping. There is no fee to submit and each successful entry will receive an artist fee!
