No experience necessary!

In this beginner-mid level Photoshop course, you’ll learn how to correctly set up documents for print and digital use, how to utilize artboards to your advantage, design basics, layer and file organization, file-types, and much more. We’ll talk about adjustment layers and clipping masks, basic typography tools, blending modes, layer masks, mockups, and Emily will share many of the tips and tricks she’s learned along the way for a faster and smarter workflow.

Participants will leave with a printout of some of Emily’s favourite tips and design resources.

Emily M. Kohlert (aka Emily Only, formerly Dandy Lion) is graphic designer, photographer, videographer, printmaker, and illustrator. She’s worked as a graphic designer at OpenSail Digital Agency for the last 2 years, and done freelance work for the last 5. In high school, a friend handed her a CD copy of Adobe Photoshop 7.0 to make band merch, and ever since, it’s been her weapon of choice when it comes to design and illustration.
