Introduction to Double Exposures Workshop: Part 2
w/ Will Kaufhold and Jeremy Sax

In this workshop we will explore the multifaceted technique of double exposures on 35mm film. Over two workshops participants will learn the basics of multiple exposures and how to utilize a single frame to convey their unique artistic expression.
Participants will be guided through the the process of shooting and composing double exposures. Each photographer will be provided with a roll of film and will need to bring a 35mm camera with them. (There may be a few cameras to lend message for details)
In the second part participants will participate in a darkroom tutorial to develop their film and see the results.
The cost of this course includes a roll of film and the developing chemicals.
Will Kaufhold is a photographer and musician from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. His photography consists entirely of film and he has been shooting for nearly 11 years. In his collection he has more than 50 vintage film cameras. His work has been featured by PAVED Arts and Lomography. Kaufhold’s photography has been used by many musicians in producing album covers and promotional materials. Most notably by the Toronto based record label Adhesive Sounds and the Montreal Band Majical Cloudz.

Jeremy Sax from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Began taking photos and buying film cameras four years ago. Working primarily with film using expired film and experimental techniques.
Jeremy does a yearly online exhibition of 100 film photos for 100 days on Instagram. His work has been featured as album art for local Saskatchewan artist Brodie Moniker.
