Submissions / We welcome proposals by contemporary artists, collectives and curators for exhibitions, screenings, media/new media performances, off-site and on-line projects.
In the tradition of artist-run culture, PAVED Arts promotes the idea of the gallery space as a site for experimentation and risk-taking. Artists who engage our centre have benefited from the pliability of our resources as well as the critical dialogue that is encouraged. PAVED Arts is prominently located in the Riversdale district of Saskatoon and draws from the strength and skills of a talented team of cultural workers. Click here for more on Main Gallery Annual Submissions.
PAVED Arts is currently accepting submissions for our large billboard space that is mounted on the front facade of our building. Over the past eight years PAVED Arts and AKA artist-run centre have mounted a variety of independent artist projects on this shared space, and from its inception the space has eschewed promotional projects or anything resembling advertising. Click here for more on Billboard Submissions.
PAVED Arts has a three dedicated spaces for the presentation of contemporary art. Our spacious Main Gallery is designed for photography and installation practices, while our Media Gallery is designed for intimate presentation of video, audio and new media. A corridor space leading from the Main Gallery to our Lounge can be included in proposals if appropriate. Click here for more about PAVED’s Floor Plans.
